Annual Reflection | The Year That Was 2020

Annual Reflection | The Year That Was 2020

2020, the year of challenges (understatement!) that was met and outshone by a fundamental re-establishment of personal needs and acts of humanity and connectedness.

At times, the world of 2020 felt dystopian, unsettled, yet never clearer. So this really is an opportunity to reflect upon what it has taken for each of us to make it through 2020 and to be amazed by our individual and collective abilities. We can only be stronger for 2021.

A poignant message for me during the year was from the book, Life After Covid by Martin Parker. “Crisis…comes from the Greek root krinein, to separate, decide or judge… to sieve and therefore to discriminate between what we want to keep and what we want to throw away”.

What more could I possibly add to that? Only that I sincerely hope that this particular Annual Reflection will give you such an opportunity as we begin a greatly desired new year. Perhaps a new era.

You can download the Reflection here, or you can click the image below. I do hope you find it beneficial.

With my very best wishes to you and your loved ones.

Do everything in your power to keep each other safe and being-well.

Always stay in touch!
